Anggota DPRD Jawa Barat dari Fraksi PKB, Oleh Soleh menyatakan, pihaknya siap berjihad ke Myanmar untuk membela Rohingya jika hal itu bisa dilakukan.
Hal itu untuk menepis anggapan bahwa warga Nahdlatul Ulama dan juga kader PKB kurang keras terkait krisis kemanusiaan di Negara Bagian Rakhine, Myanmar.
“Ada pihak lain yang menganggap bahwa NU kurang keras, PKB kurang keras. Kalau mau jihad ke sana ayo aja. Cuma persoalannya bisa nggak? Kan nggak bisa. Ini jalur lintas negara, lintas diplomatik, lintas aturan,” kata Oleh kepada Kompas.com, Jumat (8/9/2017).
Menurut Oleh, dalam menghadapi krisis kemanusiaan, hal yang harus diutamakan adalah nahi munkar bil maruf, yakni melawan kejahatan dengan kebaikan. Banyak cara dilakukan untuk membantu muslim Rohingya, salah satunya dengan memberikan bantuan semampunya.
